Color is at the heart of every great painting! In this workshop, we'll dive into the vibrant world of color theory and learn how to make it come alive through watercolor. You'll explore the relationships between hues, experiment with mixing and layering, and discover how water transforms color in beautiful, unexpected ways. Through hands-on exercises, we'll create color studies and practice techniques that help you understand tone, contrast, and mood. Then, you'll put your knowledge to work in a small painting that celebrates your newfound mastery of color. Whether you're brand new to watercolor or building on your skills, this class will help you see and paint color in a whole new light.
Since the location is a volunteer run organization, there is a $5 donation included in your fee.
